Adidas Originals has enlisted brand ambassador Ranveer Singh to star in its new campaign for its signature ‘Stan Smith’ sneaker. The sports and footwear brand’s new campaign launched on January 24.
Shot by Errikos and House of Pixels, the new campaign is set in an opera house and highlights self expression, Adidas Originals announced in a press release. “The best you can be is an original,” says Singh in the campaign.
“For almost six decades, the Stan Smith sneaker has remained relevant and iconic, traversing various cross-cultural changes,” said Adidas India’s senior brand director Sunil Gupta in a press release. “In 2023, the iconic Stan Smith sneaker is ready to break the fashion code for a generation that refuses to play by the rules. Through our latest campaign with Ranveer Singh, we set the tone for elevating and reimagining our classic and iconic footwear franchise and further driving culture credibility amongst streetwear enthusiasts, consumers, and next gen icons.”
Adidas Originals’ new collection is designed to mix street wear with fashion and celebrate the heritage of Stan Smith. Sing also wears the brand’s ‘Blue Version’ apparel in the campaign.
