Director Nitesh Tiwari has begun work for his highly ambitious mythological film ‘Ramayana’. The latest reports suggest that the ‘KGF’ star Yash has been approached for the project. If reports are to be believed, the makers are in talks with Yash to play the role of Raavan in the Indian epic. If he agrees to be part of the project, ‘Ramayana’ is going to be Yash’s debut.
The makers are very keen to get Yash on board to play Raavan and filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is in talks with Ranbir Kapoor to play Lord Ram as of now. Ranbir Kapoor is said to be showing interest in the project but wants to wait and see the developments before he signs on the dotted lines as the project is made on a grander scale and Ranbir wants everything to be perfect. The project has been in news since 2019 after the makers announced the project.

On the other side, the news from Yash’s side is that the actor is planning to do a grandeur and is busy listening to the scripts and carefully planning to see that his next film will live up to the huge expectations after the historic blockbuster ‘KGF Chapter 2’. Yash has been hearing stories from all the South and Bollywood biggies. Some unconfirmed news says Yash is impressed with the ‘Ramayana’ epic and the pre-visualization of the film and is in regular contact with the team. The call from Yash is expected in two months on this project.
