Pathaan box office collection Day 4: Shah Rukh Khan's film crosses $20 million worldwide | Hindi Movie News



Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan is making new records with each passing day. Siddharth Anand’s film has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic box office in 4 days and has also become the top weekend grosser of all time at the Hindi box office.
Adding to its streak, the film has crossed the $20 million mark in just four days overseas and continues to create havoc across all markets, reports Box Office India. The film is also expected to be the highest grossing film in the Gulf circuit soon. A Shah Rukh Khan film is bound to have an advantage in Saudi Arabia, but the numbers are far higher than expected, the report further stated.

The film did highest business overseas on Saturday that added about $6.5 million. The collections from US / Canada were around $3 million which is a historical figure. The business has been extraordinary in North America, Gulf, UK, Australia and even smaller sectors like New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Nepal, and South Africa.
At this pace, the worldwide numbers of Pathaan appear to be in the Rs 420-425 crore range for the Hindi version in just four days. With the addition from Sunday collection, it is expected to be around Rs 525-550 crore.

Back home, the film beat the likes of KGF 2 and Baahubali 2 thus becoming the highest first weekend grosser of all time.

Speaking about this record, director Siddharth Anand said in a statement, “It feels incredible to deliver the biggest 3-day collection in the history of Hindi cinema. For someone, who is passionately committed to his craft, this is simply a phenomenal result that will inspire me to push the envelope of cinema in India even further.”

With War and now Pathaan, I’m feeling even more confident to push myself and my team, to try to create bigger spectacles that can make India proud on the global stage,” added Siddharth.
