The Kapil Sharma Show, which has been entertaining audience since the last 7 years with different seasons and famous comedy faces, is in the news again. Last year, in September when the show returned with a new season, Krushna Abhishek decided to not return to the show over monetary issues, comedian Chandan Prabhakar also quit the show mid-way as he had signed a new film. And now we hear another artist is planning to bid goodbye to the show.
Sources close to ETimes TV informed us that Sidharth Sagar, who entertained everyone with his different characters on The Kapil Sharma Show like Selfie Mausi, Ustaad Gharchordas, Funveer Singh (Ranveer Singh’s mimic) and Sagar Pagletu has quit the show. The reason behind his decision is said to be monetary issues with the producers of the show. Sidharth wanted a hike in his fees, but the makers are not willing to raise his remuneration and hence he has decided to leave the show. Sidharth, who had shifted to Mumbai for The Kapil Sharma Show shoot, has gone back to home in Delhi. The chances of him returning to the show are very dim.

Sidharth is not the only one who has quit TKSS in recent times, Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar, Upasna Singh have also quit the show over the period of time.
When we reached out to Sidharth Sagar, at first he refused to comment. However, when we probed further, he said, “Aisi koi baat nahi hai, abhi main iske baare mein kuch nahi bol sakta as we are still talking about it…abhi baatein chal rahi hai.”
The Kapil Sharma Show which was launched in 2016 is one of the most loved comedy shows of Indian Television show. It currently stars Kapil Sharma, Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur amongst others.
